Welding aids
Permanent magnets help with welding.
Permanent magnetic welding aids are universally applicable in welding. Their adhesive sides have optimal holding power and handles ensure easy handling. Our welding aids also impress with their long service life. Adhesive surfaces that have become unclean can simply be reground. Tridelta pole terminals are insensitive to normal welding temperatures.
Application area
Trideltas welding aids and workpiece holders are used successfully especially in metalworking and metal processing. They have emerged from Thyssen Magnettechnik’s product range, which has proven itself over many years.
Functionality
Instead of the usual mechanical screw or pole clamps, pole clamps connect the workpiece to be machined to a welding power source via a cable. After connecting the cable, the clamp is placed on the clean metallic surface of the workpiece to be welded. The holding force is such that the clamp cannot slip or fall off. To detach it from the workpiece again, a slight bending movement on the handle is sufficient.
Workpiece holder
Permanent magnetic workpiece holders facilitate assembly work during welding by fixing the workpieces to be welded together.
Their magnetic holding force is effective on the oblique faces and on the rectangular bases, thus the workpieces can be held at right angles and in one plane. Another plus is their virtually unlimited service life.
