Sheet Metal Expanding Magnets
Sheet metal jacks are indispensable for spreading sheet metal.
Spreader magnets prevent two or more sheets from being lifted at the same time and make them available for further processing.
In sheet metal processing, sheets often have to be lifted from a more or less cohesive bundle of sheets and fed for further processing. Permanent magnet systems are the tried and tested solution for this.
Arrangements
Sheet metal spreaders can be arranged differently for individual applications.
They pass a strong magnetic flux through the side of the stack of sheets and magnetize the individual sheets with the same polarity. As like poles repel each other, the sheets are separated by this magnetic force. Accident hazards inevitably associated with unstacking, gripping and inserting steel sheets are significantly reduced thanks to sheet lifters.
