Magnetische Filtersysteme - Tridelta Magnetsysteme

Filter rods

Magnetic filter rods separate magnetic particles in liquids and solids.

Product description

Magnetic filter rods are suitable for filtering out magnetic particles in liquid or solid material flows. Filter rods allow an interrupted material flow, run without current and thus cause no follow-up costs, are fail-safe, low-maintenance and sustainable. The filter rods can also be retrofitted into an existing process; moreover, several rods can be combined to form a filter grid or filter grate to achieve larger capture areas.

Field of application filter rods

Filter rods are ideal where magnetic particles in liquid or solid material flows need to be filtered out. They can be found, for example, in mills, the plastics processing industry, paint shops, the animal feed industry, or liquid and viscous materials handling equipment.

Versions filter rods

Filter rod 1

  • Magnetic flux density: approx. 200 mT
  • Operating temperature: up to 150 °C
  • Classic application: filtration of lubricating and hydraulic oils, granular or dusty materials
  • Material covered: ferrous parts with unit weight over 500 mg, such as screws, nails, etc.

Filter rod 2

  • magnetic flux density: approx. 900 mT
  • Operating temperature: up to 80 °C
  • classic field of application: ultra-fine filtration of lubricating and hydraulic oils, granular or dusty materials
  • Detected material: ferrous parts with a unit weight above 0.5 µg, such as iron dust and abrasive particles

Functionality filter rods

Filter rods consist of a magnetic system surrounded by a welded housing. To enable the filter rod to be retrofitted into existing systems, the housing is provided with threaded holes or threaded studs. Removing the catch from the magnet is done by wiping it off with a safety glove.

Standard diameter for Tridelta magnetic filter rods is 25mm with lengths up to 500mm. In the end caps there are M8 connection threads
